Terms & Conditions
1. About Us
Heritage and Stone Tours is a private guided tour company operating bespoke tours in the south of England and airport transfers. All tours are private and tailored to each guest.
2. Booking & Payment
To secure your booking, a non-refundable deposit of 25% of the total tour cost is required at the time of booking. The remaining balance of 75% is due on the day of the tour, prior to departure.
Bookings are only confirmed once the deposit has been received and a confirmation email has been issued.
3. Cancellation Policy
If you cancel
If you need to cancel your booking for any reason, the following applies:
• Your 25% deposit is non-refundable under all circumstances.
• At our discretion, we may offer you an alternative date within the next 12 months of the original booking date.
Cancellations must be made in writing by email to the address provided in your booking confirmation.
If we cancel
In the unlikely event that we need to cancel your tour due to unforeseen circumstances (including but not limited to severe weather, vehicle failure, illness, or site closures), you will receive a full refund of all monies paid, including the deposit. We will notify you as soon as possible.
4. Amendments
If you wish to change your tour date or itinerary, please contact us as early as possible. We will do our best to accommodate amendments at no additional charge, subject to availability. Amendments made less than 48 hours before departure cannot be guaranteed.
5. English Heritage Entry Tickets
Entry tickets to English Heritage sites (including Stonehenge Stone Circle) are not included in the tour price and must be purchased separately by the guest. We are not responsible for site closures, access restrictions, or English Heritage ticket policies. English Heritage tickets are non-refundable under their own terms and conditions.
6. Force Majeure
We shall not be liable for any failure to perform, or delay in performing, our obligations where this is caused by events beyond our reasonable control. This includes, but is not limited to, adverse weather conditions, road closures, site access restrictions, acts of God, pandemics, strikes, or government restrictions. In such cases, we will endeavour to offer an alternative date or a credit note. A full refund will be offered if no suitable alternative can be found.
7. Our Liability
We take all reasonable care to ensure your tour is safe, enjoyable, and professionally delivered. However, our liability is limited as follows:
• We are not responsible for loss, damage, or injury to persons or property during the tour, except where caused directly by our negligence.
• We do not own or operate heritage sites, car parks, or third-party venues and accept no liability for incidents on those premises.
• In all cases, our maximum liability is limited to the total cost of the tour paid by you.
8. Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend that all guests arrange adequate travel insurance prior to their tour, covering cancellation, personal injury, and loss of property. This is particularly important for international visitors.
9. Guest Conduct
We reserve the right to terminate a tour without refund if a guest's behaviour is deemed dangerous, offensive, or disruptive to others, our guide, or the driver. The safety and enjoyment of all guests is our priority.
10. Children
Children are welcome on our tours and must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times. Child safety is the responsibility of the accompanying adult throughout the tour.
11. What Is Included
Your tour price includes the services of a private guide and transport as detailed in your booking confirmation. Unless specifically stated, the price does not include meals, gratuities, personal purchases, parking charges, or entry tickets.
12. Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from a booking shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
