Heritage & Stone Tours is a small, owner-run business based in Salisbury, offering private driver-guided tours and transfers across Southern England. We believe the best days out are built on three things: deep local knowledge, genuine warmth, and the kind of personal attention that simply isn't possible on a big coach. Whether you're standing in the shadow of Stonehenge, winding through Cotswold villages, or watching the sun set over the Jurassic Coast, we want every moment of your day to feel made for you.
Meet Seb- Founder & Lead Guide
Heritage & Stone Tours is the work of Seb, our founder and the voice you'll hear bringing the South of England to life. Born in Italy and of Roman descent, Seb's love of history runs deep — perhaps unsurprising, given his roots in one of the great ancient civilisations. He made Salisbury his home many years ago and has spent the past 25 years sharing this corner of the world with visitors from across the globe, guiding through Stonehenge, the Cotswolds, and beyond. Since 2023, he's been doing it on his own terms, building the kind of tours he always wanted to lead — slower, deeper, and richer in story.
In his spare time, you'll find Seb with his nose in a book about standing stones, the Viking age, or the ancient trackways that still cross the English countryside. That endless curiosity is what makes a day with him feel less like a tour and more like a conversation with someone who genuinely can't wait to show you what they've found.

Behind the scenes you'll find Sofie, who looks after our website, marketing, and tour planning. With 20 years of marketing experience, she moved to Salisbury in 2025 and is often the first point of contact when you get in touch — helping shape your day before you arrive.
Our Philosophy
We're not interested in being the biggest. We're interested in being the best. Every tour is private, every group small (up to 7 guests), and every itinerary built around what matters most to you. We're here for travellers who want more than a tick-box visit — people who want to understand a place, hear its stories, and enjoy the warm, personable service that turns a good day into a great one.
